There is very little open support for men who have suffered domestic abuse and sexual assault—due to societal stigma against male vulnerability. Men are all too often stereotyped as the perpetrators of domestic and sexual violence themselves, and not recognized as potential victims. I believe in ending violence against everybody, against all genders—not only women.

The exhibit, were we at a better point regarding the pandemic, would have been built in Union Square, Somerville, MA., in a public plaza. Brochures providing statistics, anecdotes, and resources like gender-inclusive abuse hotlines, would have been available for free.
I am still interested in pursuing construction.
